1. Kullu Dussehra
A unique Dussehra, in which neither the effigy of Ravana is burnt nor his stories are told. This interesting fair of the meeting of Gods and people performing Nati to the tunes of drums and pulling their chariots is famous all over the world as Kullu Dussehra. Kullu Dussehra is a weeklong festival which begins on the day of Vijay Dashmi and continues for seven days. It is celebrated in Dhalpur maidan of Kullu valley wherein more than 4 – 5 lakhs people visit this fair all across the world. It is started in 17th century when Raja Jagat Singh ( ruler of Kingdom of Kullu) installed the idol of Lord Raghunath that had been brought from the Ayodhya at the palace temple in Kullu. This festival starts with the arrival of Goddess Hadimba from Manali and it is believed that more than 300 Gods-Goddesses of Kullu district participate and pay their obeisance to the Lord Raghunath, the Pricipal diety of Kullu Valley. During the festival, Rath Yatra, exhibitions, sports meet, local marts displaying handicrafts and local products, dance performances etc. are the major attraction to the visitors.
2. Kangra Valley Karnival
Kangra Valley Karnival is organized every year at Police Ground, Dharamshala by the District Administration of Kangra. The Kangra Valley Karnival is started in 2023 as an initiative by the District Administration of Kangra to promote the tourism, culture and heritage of Kangra and in two years it has become quiet famous. In this carnival, stalls showcasing the handicrafts, exhibition, and various fun rides like hot air balloon, camel ride and ferris wheel etc. attracts the people. The main attraction of carnival is Cultural Evening in which singers, dancers, comedians etc. performs. In Kangra Valley Karnival 2.0 which was organized from 29 september to 2 october, famous celebrities like Satinder Sartaaj, Gajendra Verma, Maninder Buttar, Rashmeet Kaur, and many more enhanced the beauty of Cultural Evening and the whole Cultural event was covered by the DC Kangra through live stream on their youtube channel for the public engagement. 3. Winter Carnival Manali

It starts on second Sunday of Shravan Month and continues for 7 days. The festival commemorates the victory of the Raja of Chamba over the ruler of Trigarta (now Kangra) in 935 AD. It’s a celebration of tradition, harvest, and culture. The festival begins when the Minjar flag is hoisted in the historical Chowgan. The festival is announced by the distribution of Minjar, a silk tassel that symbolizes the shoots of paddy and maize.
